Forever in Our Hearts
Dogs are only in our lives for a short time, but they stay in our memories for as long as we live. Someday the memories of those last days will fade and you'll think about your dog as he was in happy times, in all his butt-wiggling, people-loving, face-licking, squirrel-chasing, mischief-making glory. These were not just our pets, they were our family and the continue to live on in our hearts.
Roody
2006-2018

Roody started his hunt test career in June of 2010 and worked his way up from Junior Hunter to qualifying for the Master Nationals in May of 2012. Roody was primarily amateur trained, until we found a trusted personal friend/trainer in Georgia who took him in during our winter months and helped fine tune him (and us) to compete at the Master level.
​
Roody’s passion was hunting and hunt tests; but he was a wonderful family companion. Roody proved to be an exceptional hunt test competitor passing 31 of 34 Masters Tests. He also qualified for the Masters Nationals in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. He brought home his first Master National Plate in 2016.
Ozzy
2012-2018

Ozzy was the son of our very own Roody and Piper.
​
Ozzy, as a hunt test competitor followed closely in Roody's footsteps. Ozzy acquired his Master Title at the young age of two. That same year he qualified for and passed the Masters Nationals, being the only Golden from Wisconsin to do so.

Jerzi
2006-2018
​
LIke her brother Roody, Jerzi was an exceptional upland hunter. She had her first hunt in South Dakota at only 9 months of age. Over 80 birds were shot over her that year and she was crazy for birds ever since.
​
Jerzi was our alpha dog. She had a very strong independent personality and viewed herself as the protector of our home. At the same time, she was extremely well mannered and loved to cuddle and have her belly rubbed. She was the perfect blend of aggressiveness for the field and sweetness for the home.
Tator
2008-2018
​
Tator was our most aggressive mannered dog in the field. She was an exceptional marking dog who ran with great intensity. Her inside personality was completely opposite; quiet and subdued until any mention of going outside. She definitely had a passion for the great outdoors.

Piper
2008-2022

Piper is the daughter of Burn’s Golden Phoenix MH OS***, born on 6/18/08.
​
Piper is a dog owner’s dream! She is happy and wagging her tail from the time she wakes up until the time she goes to bed. She is very compliant and focused, as her main objective is to please! Her mild, loving, personality makes her the perfect house pet. Piper’s obedient mannerisms, with her strong field pedigree, make her a hunting companion anyone could be proud of.
